Team Leaders & Senior Care Team
The senior care team has many years of experience in care and all have qualifications in Health and Social Care. There is always a senior on shift (day and night) to ensure our residents are well cared for and answer any questions you may have. Our senior team are dedicated and hard-working, creating and overseeing personalised care plans to identify and see to the needs and wants of each service user.
Care Assistants
We have an amazing team of care assistants who work together to meet the needs of all our residents around the clock. Each member of staff has completed training relevant to the needs of the service users, and the majority have recognised Health and Social Care qualifications. Our team works together to ensure the highest level of care for our residents and share their knowledge with one another.
Administration
The administrator does a variety of jobs, assisting the Directors and Management team to ensure all the necessary paperwork is kept up-to-date and in line with legislation.
Kitchen
We have an outstanding kitchen team, who provide fresh home-cooked meals (breakfast, lunch, tea, supper etc.) which are nutritious and in line with service users’ preferences. Our attention to detail and high standards for hygiene are reflected in our 5-star rating, awarded by an Environmental Health Officer.
House Keeping
Our team of housekeepers work together to ensure the home is kept clean, safe and smelling fresh making it a welcoming place for all. The staff have the necessary training to ensure the safe use of products.
Maintenance
Our “jack-of-all-trades” maintenance man has worked at Penny Pot since 2009, making sure the building is safe, secure and maintained and is on hand to help settle new service users in, creating a homely atmosphere in the bedrooms and other areas of the home, ensuring residents’ safety and comfort.
Activities
At Penny Pot, it is our priority to ensure all residents have activities to join in which stimulates the mind, brings enjoyment and promotes independents, whilst also ensuring that these activities are dementia friendly. Our activities coordinator has an amazing rapport with all our residents and brightens up the room with creative ideas and entertaining activities.
